The power cascade, with its parallel 7+7 phase design for VCORE and 80A SPS components, supplies the processor with stable and precise voltage under any load. For performance tuning enthusiasts, the motherboard features Zenith Memory Performance and D5 Bionic Corsa technologies, which enable advanced DDR5 memory overclocking up to a frequency of 8200MHz using AI for optimisation. The X3D Turbo Mode function specifically optimises gaming performance for AMD Ryzen processors with 3D V-Cache by increasing the frame rate in games. Furthermore, the BIOS HyperTune automatically tunes the system to achieve the best possible balance of performance and stability.
Extensive storage options
The Gigabyte B850 Aorus Stealth motherboard provides a wide range of options for connecting fast storage. It is equipped with a total of four M.2 slots. Two slots connected directly to the processor use the PCIe 5.0 x4/x2 interface, which is ready for future generations of NVMe SSDs and offers high transfer speeds. Two additional M.2 slots connected via the chipset operate with the PCIe 4.0 x4/x2 interface. It uses two SATA III ports for connecting conventional hard drives or SATA SSDs. The board also supports NVMe RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations to increase performance or secure data.
Network and external connectivity
For a stable and fast network connection, the board features a 5GbE LAN port from Realtek, which offers significantly higher throughput than standard Gigabit Ethernet. Wireless communication is handled by a modern Wi-Fi 7 module with Bluetooth 5.4 support, delivering low latency and high speeds for online gaming and streaming. The selection of USB ports is also rich. The rear panel includes both USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports. For connecting to the front panel of the case, it offers an internal header for a fast USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port.
Efficient cooling and simplified assembly
Efficient cooling of key components is ensured by massive heatsinks on the VRM cascade and M.2 Thermal Guard heat shields for all four M.2 slots, which prevent overheating and performance throttling of the SSDs. Assembly and future system upgrades are simplified by elements from the EZ DIY series. This includes the M.2 EZ-Latch system for installing drives without using screws, a reinforced PCIe EZ-Latch for easy release of the graphics card, and a WIFI EZ-Plug connector for convenient antenna connection. The board also includes five PWM connectors for fans and water cooling pumps, enabling comprehensive temperature management.
