The affordable Gigabyte Radeon R7 240, from this leading manufacturer, offers its esteemed owner a decent performance backed by quiet operation. A total of 2GB of DDR3 memory runs at a high frequency of 1800 MHz. The graphics core takes advantage of the most advanced 28nm production process. It has 320 stream processors and operates at 900 MHz. This is a 120 MHz full-frame increment.
The card is suited for playing older computer games, but if you do not need to play utilise full details, you can also play the latest titles. A huge surprise is the presence of the brand new Mantle programming interface. It can squeeze out of the maximum performance hardware and allow up to nine times the call of rendering features compared to DirectX. Plus there is a special cooler that offers an above average 10cm diameter fan which makes sure the card is quieter than the reference version. It also features highly reliable Ultra Durable 2 components and a gold-plated HDMI output to the monitor.
