Adjustable internal straps allow you to customise the size to your body shape. The vest is made of 600D polyester, nylon straps and polyester mesh. The airbag is made of polyurethane, and the part behind the activation mechanism is supplemented with visco-elastane.
Easy Installation and Use of the MLV 2 Airbag Vest
The motorcycle airbag vest works on a mechanical principle. It connects to the motorcycle frame under the seat or another suitable place using a carbon-Kevlar lanyard. Activation is similar to seatbelts – it only engages in a real fall. The deployment is calibrated to a force corresponding to a fall (usually from 30 km/h and above). After activation, the vest deflates on its own within two minutes. It can then be prepared for use again: deflate any excess air, activate the mechanism with an Allen key, and insert a new CO₂ cartridge.
