The swimming pond has never been more accessible. Thanks to the complete set of components, the swimming pond becomes a self-buildable dream, without costly concreting, with fast construction.
What you need: wheel, or. minibagr, measuring bar, A spade, a shovel, a spirit level, Meter, garden hose, Sand, large and small pebbles, decorative stones, pond plants and substrate. Mark the outline of the pond on your property with a garden hose (sand, spray). Dig up the soil along the marked pond and place it next to the pond. Start digging First dig the mud zone (0-15 cm) from the edges to the centre, then the coastal shallow zone (15-50 cm) and finally the deep zone (50 cm and above). The slope of the individual zones should not exceed 30°, otherwise the soil and planters may slide down. The edges on all sides must be the same, use a measuring tape and a spirit level to do this. Use the soil from the excavation for levelling. Apply a 10 cm layer of sand on all horizontal surfaces. Level with a spirit level and batten and bite off. Then line this pit with geotextile. Place the foil in the centre of the pit and start laying the foil from there. Finally, pull the foil over the edge to create a capillary curtain (a groove filled with pebbles, decorative gravel will prevent water from rising from the foil lintels). Once the foil has been flattened, you can plant the plants in the planter baskets and settle the equipment. Fill the pond with tap or well water. After 24 hours, cut off the overhanging foil. Fill the groove with stones to fix the foil and prevent water from rising (capillary effect).
