The Powerplus POWX04710 electric random orbital sander is a compact and lightweight tool, ideal for sanding, finishing and polishing wooden, metal or plastic surfaces at home or in a DIY workshop. Thanks to its 450W motor, which reaches up to 13000 rpm, the sander easily handles both flat and curved surfaces, such as the rounded parts of furniture. The sanding speed can be continuously adjusted from 12000 to 26000 oscillations per minute to suit the task, allowing the tool to adapt to any job. The POWX04710 features an ergonomic main handle and an angle-adjustable front handle for secure two-handed control. Dust is collected in the included plastic box with a microfilter, which can be replaced with an external dust extractor if needed. The sander, along with six sheets of sandpaper, is stored in a Powerplus Systainer plastic carrying case.

Versatile sander with a comfortable handle
The Powerplus POWX04710 sander not only tackles various surfaces but also handles the removal of old paint, varnish or rust. A 125mm diameter disc, which rotates and vibrates eccentrically, ensures effective sanding without the risk of scratching the material. You can also continuously adjust the rotation speed and oscillation rate to suit the material and task using the control wheel on the sander's body. There is also a front (auxiliary) handle for precise guidance, reduced vibration and a secure two-handed grip. The handle can be adjusted to the desired angle and simply locked in position.
Powerplus POWX04710 is equipped with a dust extraction port
The POWX04710 random orbital sander has a base plate with eight holes that ensure efficient dust extraction into the included plastic collection box with a microfilter. This helps to keep your workspace clean and clear. If needed, any external dust extractor can be connected to the dust extraction port instead of the plastic box. You'll also appreciate the quick and easy sandpaper changes, as the sheets attach simply using a hook and loop system.
