An affordable computer with an Intel Core i5 for small businesses
The HP ProDesk 2 SFF G1i E strikes just the right balance between price, performance and compact size. Its Intel Core i5-14500 processor, coupled with DDR5 memory and an NVMe SSD, handles everyday tasks without a hitch. The TPM 2.0 security chip and physical anti-theft locks protect your hardware investment. Windows 11 Pro gets the computer ready for business use straight out of the box.
Eight performance cores and six efficiency cores give the ProDesk 2 an impressive reserve for more demanding tasks. The Intel Core i5-14500 processor offers a total of 14 cores and 20 threads, handling multitasking, business software and large spreadsheets without slowing down. The turbo frequency climbs up to 5GHz exactly when you need that extra push. The combination of DDR5 memory and a fast NVMe SSD then ensures a swift system and application start-up first thing in the morning.
The HP ProDesk 2 G1i E features an integrated Trusted Platform Module security chip, which provides hardware-based encryption keys to protect your sensitive data, email communication and login credentials. The physical protection of your investment is complemented by a padlock loop and an integrated accessory cable lock, which let you easily secure the computer and its peripherals against theft. What's more, the absence of a pre-installed operating system gives you a free hand in choosing the software solution and licence that best suits your company's needs or IT policy.
Eight USB ports, split between the front and back, will cover the needs of most workplaces. Four ports at the front make it easy to quickly connect temporary devices like a flash drive or phone, while four ports at the back are designed for permanent peripherals such as a printer or external drive. The HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs cover connecting an external monitor. A PCI Express x16 and x1 slot open up room for future expansion.

Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.
The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.
