A separate USB-C charging port lets you use the device while it's charging, while maintaining a pure path for the audio signal. The hip-dac 3 is equipped with two outputs – a 3.5mm socket for standard headphones and a 4.4mm balanced output for headphones with balanced connectivity. Thanks to iFi's S-Balanced technology, the 3.5mm output minimises crosstalk and distortion for maximum connection quality.
