The Progressive CMOS sensor provides a sharp 2,880 × 1,620 image at a frame rate of up to 20 FPS. The fixed 3.6mm lens offers a balanced horizontal viewing angle of 79° and a vertical angle of 44° for effective coverage of the monitored scene. Modern H.265 and H.264 compression formats significantly reduce storage and network load without loss of recording quality. Users also have access to an 8x digital zoom to get a closer look at distant details.
Security camera's colour night vision with a range of up to 30 metres
In low-light conditions, a hybrid night mode is activated, which combines infrared illumination and white LED spotlights. The security device has a range of up to 30m and enables colour night vision even in complete darkness. You can set the spotlights to activate when motion is detected, giving you a colour image at the crucial moment. The smart colour night mode helps to reliably identify people and objects at night.
AI person detection and automatic motion tracking
Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms analyse the image in real time and recognise human figures. The Smart Auto Tracking feature then automatically rotates the lens and follows the moving person across the entire field of view. If the area is breached, the camera triggers an active deterrent in the form of a built-in 110dB siren and a warning light alarm. Instant mobile notifications with a photo immediately alert the owner to the situation.
Two-way communication and active deterrence
The camera body houses a sensitive microphone and speaker, which provide clear audio transmission in both directions. This feature allows you to communicate with visitors at the gate or warn uninvited guests directly from the mobile app. The audio system also serves as an acoustic alarm, which emits a loud warning signal in the event of an alarm. Two-way voice communication takes place via the mobile app from anywhere with an internet connection.
Camera with flexible recording storage options
Users can store recorded videos in several different ways according to their preferences. The device is equipped with a memory card slot for a microSD card of up to 256GB, which provides enough space for long-term storage of recordings. Alternatively, you can connect the camera to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) for long-term storage or use encrypted cloud storage with remote access to the archive. Storing data on a memory card is the simplest local solution with no additional fees.
Wi-Fi connection, LAN and the Imou Life app
Wireless network connection is provided by a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi module with a pair of external antennas that eliminate signal dropouts and extend the range. For a stable wired connection, it offers a single 100Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port. ONVIF protocol support ensures compatibility with third-party network recorders and software. The Imou Life mobile app for Android and iOS allows for easy setup, live streaming and control of motorised rotation of 355° horizontally and 90° vertically.
