The Inter-Tech IPC 3U-3098-S computer case serves as a robust foundation for server builds mounted in rack cabinets. The 3U steel construction provides extensive options for installing a large number of hard drives while also supporting standard components, which reduces the overall hardware cost. The well-thought-out internal layout allows for easy handling of drive arrays and efficient cable management. The 3U server chassis for rack mounting creates a stable environment and, by supporting standard ATX power supplies, it reduces the need to purchase expensive, specific solutions. Additionally, the front panel with lockable doors increases the physical security of stored data and prevents system restarts.
The chassis uses 1.0mm to 1.2mm thick steel, which gives the entire system high durability and stability. The front features a lockable door that prevents unauthorised access to the controls or drive units. Integrated dust filters keep the interior space clean and contribute to the smooth operation of installed components, even in more demanding environments.
The internal layout offers removable hard drive cages, which makes installing internal devices easier. The system supports Mini ITX, mATX, and standard ATX motherboards. Users have five internal 3.5-inch drive bays and six 2.5-inch storage slots available, with the configuration depending on the mounting methour There are also four external 5.25-inch bays.
The rear section includes two pre-installed fans that expel warm air out of the case. The power supply area accommodates standard ATX units, which increases compatibility and reduces operating costs. Graphics cards can be up to 300mm long, and the processor cooler fits within a height of 113mm.
