Navigation with iAdapt 2.0 with visual localisation
With an advanced navigation system, iAdapt 2.0, the device easily manages to perfectly clean a large room in an apartment or house. The Roomba 960 features a camera through which it detects obstacles, individual types of furniture and chooses the best way of cleaning. Regardless of the size of the space, Roomba 960 will clean areas up to 185m2.
Smart technology with iRobot HOME mobile application
With iRobot HOME on your smartphone or tablet, you can control the robot even when you are not at home. Just press the CLEAN button. iRobot HOME in Czech provides you with a host of other useful features and important information.

In order to be as thorough as possible, Roomba vacuums at the edges of the wall and furniture.
Complete cleaning in the case of a full collection basket
As soon as the collecting basket is filled, the robot returns to where it started and pauses the cleaning. After emptying the collection basket and pressing the CLEAN button, cleaning will continue.

AeroForce three-stage cleaning system
iRobot Roomba 960 is equipped with one of the most fundamental innovations in the history of robotic vacuum cleaners - AeroForce three-stage cleaning system. The AeroForce system concentrates airflow into a narrow gap between rotating brushes, resulting in a strong vacuum effect. Combined with the 2nd generation engine, the suction power is increased up to 5x.
1. Rotating side brush
With the presence of a side brush, the Roomba 960 will effectively clean the space around furniture, along the walls, corners of rooms and other hard-to-reach areas.
2. Two counter-rotating AeroForce brushes
Two rotating rubber brushes with special guide grooves collect dirt from all types of floors and carpets. On hard floors the brush draws dirt directly into the collecting basket. When cleaning carpets, loose dirt from carpet fibres is loosened with guide grooves to bring the dirt to the surface, then brushes collect this surface dirt which is delivered to the collection bin.
3. Second generation suction engine
Fine dust extraction is ensured by a powerful second-generation suction engine. Air filtration is provided by the AeroForce filter.
Charging function during cleaning
If required, the Roomba 960 will head back to the charging station, awaits till it is fully charged, and continues cleaning from exactly the same place from where it last finished cleaning.
The Lithium battery will allow Roomba 960 to operate for up to 75 minutes. The advantage of a lithium battery is its high capacity and long service life.
Anti-entanglement system
iRobot has been designed to clean a domestic house, and therefore has been equipped with an ANTITANGLE function, which prevents tangling and jamming from cables or fringes of the carpet. When the brush senses resistance, it rotates the opposite way to avoid entanglement. In this way, the robot disconnects from the item/s causing the resistance and the iRobot can continue cleaning.
Sensors protecting the device from falling from the stairs or steps
The sensors located on the bottom of the robot can safely recognise the free space under the robot, thus eliminating the possibility of falling off the stairs. Roomba stops, turns around and continues to clean with a solid ground beneath the wheels.
Large-capacity AeroForce
Roomba has a large dust collector bin that captures the finest dust particles using the AeroForce filter.
Program SPOT
The Program SPOT serves for cleaning a small area. After manual activation of the robot, it will thoroughly clean a space with a diameter of 1m2. It will serve the purpose of a "broom and blade" and can be useful, for example, when you spill sugar in your kitchen or to clean your car mats.
Profiled bumper with slow touch
The profiled bumper with slow touch is friendly to your furniture. It can distinguish seeming obstacles such as a bedspread or curtains, and will clean effectively under the bed or just around curtains and drapes.
