Audio Extension for the Jabra PanaCast SpeakerMic
The device connects to the main PanaCast 55 VBS unit to extend the audio range in medium and large conference rooms. A standard cable with a supported length of up to 30m is used to connect the two elements, helping to cover even distant places at the table without the need for complex configuration. The connection works using the supplied adapter and a standard cable. This system brings clear audio capture to the back of the room and eliminates the need to change the basic settings of the entire video conference.
Microphone Technology and Sound Reproduction
Voice capture is handled by four omnidirectional microphones with full 360-degree coverage. The microphones operate in a frequency range of 100 to 18,000Hz, so they reliably capture the entire spectrum of the human voice. In addition, built-in noise reduction cleans the transmitted signal of unwanted background noise for seamless communication even in larger groups. Reproduction is handled by a built-in 6cm speaker, which distributes sound evenly throughout the room and maintains clear delivery without distortion even at higher volumes. You can conveniently adjust the volume or quickly mute the microphone directly on the device with the touch of a finger.
Installation, Management, and Connectivity
The compact design, with a width of 136mm and a depth of 136mm, makes it easy to place on any desk or conference surface. The package includes a mounting kit with a flexible plate for fixed installation in a chosen location. The protective cover meets the IPX2 standard specification against vertically dripping water. The total weight of the device is 623g and its height is 55mm, so it doesn't take up too much space on the table and remains stable. One RJ-45 Ethernet port and a USB-C interface are used for connecting to the network and other devices. System administrators can perform remote management and regular firmware updates through the Jabra Plus software platform. Simple management facilitates mass configurations on the corporate network. The supplied 0.5m RJ-45 to USB-C cable is used for connection. The system fully supports Windows and Mac OS for easy integration.
