Kinedryl is used without a doctor's advice to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting when travelling by means of transport (car, train, plane, ship). On the recommendation of a doctor, the preparation can also be used for nausea and dizziness of various origins (in Meniere's disease). It is also used in the treatment of nausea caused by a disorder of the vestibular apparatus (balance system).
Adults:
1 tablet 60 minutes before the start of the journey. For prolonged travel, it is sufficient to administer ½-1 tablet at intervals of 2-3 hours. In the therapy of acute kinetosis, 2 tablets are taken once, with insufficient effect, then at intervals of 30 minutes ½-1 tablet up to a maximum of 4 tablets. In the case of sudden vomiting, it is more expedient not to administer the initial dose of 2 tablets at once, but divided into 4 doses at an interval of several minutes.
Children and adolescents up to 15 years of age:
Children aged 2-6 years are given ¼ tablet, aged 6-15 years ¼-½ tablet. The first dose should be taken 60 minutes before the start of the journey, for long journeys it can be repeated twice at an interval of 2-3 hours.
Children under 2 years:
Kinedryl should not be given to children under 2 years of age.
A medicine for internal use. Read the package leaflet carefully.
