Properties of BCF polypropylene yarn
The rug is made from 100% BCF (Bulked Continuous Filament) polypropylene yarn. The material consists of one continuous filament, which gains volume and density thanks to heat treatment. Because the fibre is not cut but forms a single whole, the rug does not shed and retains its shape even with regular use. The antistatic treatment of the fibres actively prevents the accumulation of static electricity, meaning the rug does not cause unpleasant shocks when walked on and does not attract dust.
