Java doesn't produce a staggeringly high amount of Arabica, but its growers are all the more careful about it. And unlike all the surrounding countries, their coffee doesn't have as much acidity and even manages to suppress the earthy taste that many consumers don't like. In each cup you can enjoy a coffee with an intense but perfectly balanced spicy taste combining notes of clove, cinnamon and smoke. Whichever way you prefer to brew your coffee, Java Arabica always tastes great. This coffee is also great as a gift.

Coffee trees were introduced to Indonesia in the mid-17th century by the Dutch. Some sources say even earlier. The first coffee harvested in Java was sold in Amsterdam in 1712. Coffee is mostly grown on small plantations, which account for about 90 percent of total production. After harvesting, the coffee beans are left to mature in special spaces, which gives them their unique flavour and aroma. Among the best plantations are Belawan, Jambit, Kayumas and Pankur.
Coffee is definitely not the kind of thing that would sit on a shelf for weeks and months waiting for someone to finally buy it and ship it. Arabica is imported to the Czech Republic from selected destinations green and in original jute bags, because they put a real emphasis on authenticity. They roast the coffee for as short a time as possible before shipping to ensure you're drinking fresh coffee.
They always try to get the most out of green arabica because they know that their customers have refined tastes and want to indulge in quality coffee. For most of the imported arabicas, we have found medium roasting to suppress the acidity characteristic of lighter roasts and, on the contrary, to bring out the typical coffee aroma with hints of nuts, chocolate or caramel. At the same time, this roasting process preserves a certain smoothness and lightness of the coffee, so don't expect any earthy and dense notes that would distract from the gourmet experience.
