2Cellos: Celloverse
LP Record 2Cellos are a Croatian cello duo, consisting of Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. They became internationally famous after their cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" went viral on YouTube in 2011. Their second album, Celloverse, was released in 2015. The album has a more rock and pop sound than their first album. It features guest appearances from Elton John, Steve Vai, and Skylar Grey. The album was well-received by critics. The Guardian gave it four out of five stars, calling it "an album that is as comfortable with classical as it is with rock." The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the UK Classical Chart and number two on the US Classical Albums chart.
