40 days on foot to Jerusalem

The greatest travel adventure since Honzik's journey!

Content: A 22-year-old man walks 1,400 kilometres to Jerusalem. He keeps getting lost and is a bit clumsy, but he meets good people along the way.

How it ends: He makes it to Jerusalem, but then is almost killed by a rocket at the airport.

Who can you buy it for: Anyone aged 14-99 with a sense of humour.

List of allergens: Includes jokes about religion and fat people.

Twenty-two-year-old Ladislav Zibura packed his life into 12 kilograms this summer, threw his backpack on his back and set off on his own to Jerusalem. Without a map or sense of direction, he walked 1,400 kilometres across the scorching hot landscapes of Turkey and Israel, stood at the Wailing Wall and had the greatest adventure of his life. His journey is a story of mistakes, remarkable encounters, blisters and bruises. Listen to the narration of a cynical café loafer, who will prove to you with his kindly, unfair humour that a pilgrim does not have to be a Catholic, an ascetic or a boring person.
