What happens when you discover your mother’s diary?
“She placed her backpack on her lap and pulled out a book with a dark brown cover bearing the inscription ‘1985’ – her mother’s diary from that year, which she had taken from her jewellery safe about a month ago. It was at the very bottom, amongst other papers. She lit a cigarette, settled back on the bench, and began to read.” A wise person learns from the mistakes of others. But how does one actually do that? When seventeen-year-old Tereza finds her mother's diary, she gets the chance to try. Will she be able to seize it?
