Allies - Blu-ray
Allies - Blu-ray
The year is 1942, and Max Vatan (Brad Pitt) parachutes into the dunes of the Moroccan desert with a mission to assassinate the German ambassador in Casablanca. In the city, he meets a French woman, Marianne (Marion Cotillard), who is to play the role of his wife and help him complete his mission.
Their feigned marital intimacy and love gradually blossoms into real passion, and after the operation is over, they leave for London together, where they marry, despite the war. Their domestic bliss lasts only until Max learns that this too might just be an elaborate game, one that could significantly influence the outcome of the Second World War.
At that moment, his desperate hunt for the truth begins, and for the hope that what his superiors are claiming about his wife is not true.
