STORY
The threat of World War III
In the Malden Islands, tensions from World War III are steadily rising, while military clashes are relentless from dawn to dusk. You find yourself right in the middle of this catastrophe, where you need to use all available means to prevent the conflict from spreading further. Viktor Troska returned to Nogova in 1982, convinced that the pains of war were behind him, but his hopes were quickly dashed when his home island became the site of an invasion by enemy forces. Three years later, while training in the US Army, David Armstrong is unexpectedly called to Everon Island, with which all communication has been cut off. In this strategic location, they face the threat of an enemy determined to take over the island and bring the world to the brink of World War III.

In Cold War Assault PC you take command of a team of highly equipped soldiers and have a wide range of weapons to choose from, from small personal weapons to heavy ammunition. You can drive different vehicles, including trabants, 120 Skoda trucks, Willys Jeeps, modern Abrams tanks, Apache helicopters and A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft. Arma: Cold War Assault PC offers an intense campaign where you'll play four different characters and take part in missions on the vast battlefields of Malden, Everon, Kolgujev and Desert Island, which total over 100km².

Choose the war you want to fight in
In Arma: Cold War Assault PC lets you enjoy multiplayer play over the Internet or on a local area network (LAN), where an extensive and intuitive editor lets you create new missions, campaigns and maps for co-op and competitive modes. The editor gives you the ability to customize the game to your liking, whether you want to stick with existing modes or create entirely new ones. You can also take advantage of a wide range of addons and mods created by a large community over ten years. These add-ons allow you to fight in different historical periods, from World War I and World War II, to North vs. South wars, Napoleonic campaigns, and fantasy battles in galaxies far away.

Immerse yourself in the story of Viktor Troska through 20 missions on the vast island of Nogova, which features new gameplay elements including a bridge and an improved urban environment. The island brings a wide range of new vehicles, such as the bicycle, Jawa motorcycle and V-80 helicopter, as well as new weapons, including the Scorpion submachine gun and CZ-75 pistol. A new backup pistol option is added to your arsenal, which comes in handy when your primary weapon runs out of ammo.
