Banduras

It is the summer of 1967, a girl disappears at a lake lost in the dense Quebec forest. They find her dead, her leg torn apart by a rusty hunting trap. The investigation concludes that it was an accident: Zaza Mulligan is said to be a victim of the silent forest. But when another girl goes missing, it becomes clear that a killer is circling the lake. A refined style in the service of an oppressive atmosphere and subtle psychological probes - this leads many critics and readers to compare it to David Lynch's Twin Peaks. The author has won several literary awards for her novel Bandury (Bondrée, 2014), most notably the prestigious Canadian Governor General's Award. < br> < br> A thriller from the depths of the Canadian woods. < br> < br> The publication of the book was supported by SODEC Québec.
