Maddie is a sweet and sensible 30-year-old woman, but she has a bohemian side: She studied art history and would like to make a name for herself as an artist. She hasn't been lucky so far, she is penniless, so she accepts the offer of a summer job: will be working as a hostess on a luxury yacht in Croatia with a group of friends from the fashion industry. Her friend Nina, whose brother Nick is one of the guests on the boat, got her the job. He comes from a very ordinary farming family, but is now dating model Tara, whom he met while on a fashion shoot on his farm. Maddie tries to hold her own as a hostess and accommodate the pampered guests, but the arrogant Tara doesn't make it easy.

One of the guests, the handsome and wealthy Simon, takes an interest in Maddie and appreciates her artistic talent and full curves - but is he sincere? At the same time, Maddie realizes that she's becoming more and more attracted to Nick...
