Behind closed doors
The thriller that stunned the world will make you take a closer look at the perfect couples around you
Everyone knows someone like Jack and Grace. He is attractive and rich, she has charm and elegance. You may not want to like them, but you do. You'd like to get to know Grace better. But that is very difficult. The two of them are inseparable. Some might call it true love, others might ask why Grace never answers the phone. Or why she never goes to lunch with you unless Jack is with her. And why are there bars on one window.
Sometimes the perfect marriage can be just one big perfect lie.
B. A. Paris
B. A. Paris comes from a French-Irish family. She grew up in England, but later moved with her family to France, where she worked for several years in an international bank, then retrained as a teacher and founded a language school with her husband. They now live in England again and have five daughters together. Her literary career started with the psychological thriller Behind Closed Doors, which became a worldwide and Czech bestseller. Other successful titles that followed were Trapped by Lies, Bring Me Back, Dilemma and Therapy.
