Captain America: The First Avenger 3D+2D (2 discs) - Blu-ray
Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is an idealistic young man who, like the vast majority of his peers, is eager to join the army so he can help America defeat the Nazis when his country joins the Second World War. But he doesn't stand a chance; he's undersized and frail, his only qualification being the stubbornness with which he repeatedly gets rejected by draft boards. Ultimately, it is this tenacity that leads to him being selected as a suitable candidate for a unique scientific experiment designed to produce Super-Soldiers for America.
His first attempt is a success, and thanks to the scientific team led by Dr. Erskine (Stanley Tucci), Steve is transformed into a perfect human being. However, the fight against the Nazis will have to wait, as a far more dangerous enemy emerges. The secret organisation HYDRA, led by the ruthless villain Johann Schmidt (Hugo Weaving), has begun to hatch its own plans for world domination.
