English musician, singer and songwriter Eric Clapton was a member of the famous bands Yardbirds and Cream. During his career, he won 17 Grammy Awards and Brit Awards, the famous magazine Rolling Stone ranked him second in the ranking of the 500 best guitarists in music history.
Singer, guitarist and composer B. B. King is one of the most famous bluesmen in music history. He has received a comparable number of awards as Clapton, including fifteen Grammy Awards.
In 2000, two of the world' s best guitarists met in the studio to record an album, building on previous collaborations (they first played together in 1967). They won Grammy and other awards for the record, the recording is twice multiplatinum in America.
