They can feel and experience every human emotion to their very last breath – on stage, in front of the camera, and in their own lives. Twenty actresses and actors, twenty human stories in interviews conducted by Deník N journalist Lenka Vrtišková Nejezchlebová. Each is different, but they all share one thing: a love for the acting craft. This generation of young stars, both rising and those who have already established themselves by the age of 33, reveals, among other things, that "playing people" is often much harder work than it might seem to us in the theatre, cinema, on television, red carpets, and social media.

Lenka Vrtišková Nejezchlebová has been an editor at Deník N since its foundation in 2018. She specialises in interviews with personalities across various fields and professions, but has a particular weakness for science. She started her journalism career in 2001, when, still a journalism student, she joined the Pátek Lidových novin magazine. She later worked in the iDnes newsroom, the reporting department and MF Dnes magazine, and Týden magazine. She won the Journalism Award for the best interview in the written journalism category. In the book Trojboj s draky, she covered the life story of philanthropist Tomáš Slavata, and her interviews were previously published in the book Živly české vědy in Edice N.
