Crown of the Eternal Twilight
The prophecy is being fulfilled, the moon is falling from the sky…
The planet Urth orbits the sun, but does not rotate on its axis. One half of it is scorched, the other is covered by eternal ice. In the narrow strip between the two hemispheres lies the Crown, a collection of rival kingdoms. And now all of them are threatened with destruction and extinction.
A group of outsiders embarks on a dangerous pilgrimage to uncover secrets from the ancient past that hold the key to saving their world.
A gifted student predicts the apocalypse, but her 'reward' is a death sentence. On the run into the unknown, she joins forces with a former knight who takes up the weapons he is forbidden to carry and returns home. With a prince who indulges in drinking sprees but steps out of his brother's shadow to find his own purpose in life. And with an imprisoned thief who escapes the darkness of the mines to discover a shining artefact that will unleash a worldwide struggle for power.
On the run from enemies old and new, the four must learn to trust each other—or they will not survive in this strange, beautiful, yet deadly world. But with every moment, doom draws closer.
The Crown of the Everlasting Gloom is the first part of the Moonfall cycle.
