Daylight War

War in the Daylight, the eagerly awaited third installment of Brett's international bestselling Demon Cycle, continues the story of humanity's final rebellion against the demon hordes that come out night after night to devour it. Especially at the new moon, demons rise in full force and their coveted prey are two people. Each of the two has a chance to become the legendary Liberator, the man prophesied to unite the scattered remnants of humanity for the final campaign to destroy the demon race once and for all. Arlen Sedlak used to be an ordinary man, but now he's something more - a Tattooed One, riddled with arcane protections so powerful they make him an equal opponent to any demon.

Ahmann Jardir has already united the warlike desert tribes of Krasia into a great army and declared himself Shar'dam Ka, the Liberator. His rise was orchestrated by his first wife, Inevera, a clever and powerful priestess who wields the terrifying magic of demon bones that allows her to see into the future.

Arlen and Jardir were once as close as brothers. They are now arch rivals. And while the enemies of mankind grow stronger, the only two men capable of defeating them are antagonized by the most murderous and insidious of all demons - those who lurk in the hearts of men
