Death of a Martyr
The Grand Master Zdeněk invites a theatre company to his castle Šternberk in Posázaví to perform a play about the martyrdom of Saint Dorothy for the monarch. Ferdinand I. The Habsburgs are returning to Prague from Vienna, as the provincial assembly is about to take place, and Queen Anne has expressed her wish to surprise her husband and has written a play for him herself. But the actress who was supposed to play the martyr dies for real. However, the Hofmeister believes that his daughter should have died. Jiří Adam from Dobronín, who is also a guest at the castle, starts a discreet investigation into the case.
