Evil lurks where it cannot be seen. The sixth case for Tomáš Volf.
The sixth case is the one that affects criminologist Tomáš Volf the most, and in several ways. It all starts with the discovery of a van parked on the edge of a South Moravian forest, hiding a gruesome cargo. Tomáš Volf begins to unravel a case with leads that stretch to Prague and abroad. A likeable commissioner from Brno has everything under control, and Tomáš's former police partner, Eva Černá, delves into the controversial world of modern art and suspicious business transactions. The various threads of this case are connected by events surrounding a painting with somewhat unclear content but a very clear value. It's not just the painting that has a dark side... Jiří Březina once again leads the reader to an unexpected conclusion.
