Dinosaur Jr.: Green Mind Dlx Clr
LP Record Dinosaur Jr.'s "Green Mind" is a seminal album released in 1991, marking the band's fourth studio effort and their debut on the major label Sire Records. This album showcases a characteristic fusion of punk rock energy and melodic noise, with J Mascis himself taking on most of the instrumental duties. "Green Mind" features a collection of tracks that exemplify the band's raw guitar sound, including notable songs like "The Wagon", which served as the lead single, and "Thumb", a fan favourite distinguished by its laid-back vibe and emotive solos. Other tracks such as "Puke + Cry" and "Blowing It" further cement the album's place in early 90s alternative rock.
