American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish is releasing her album When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? "When I wrote 'bury a friend', the whole album clicked into place in my head," says Billie, describing the new music. "I immediately knew what it was going to be about, what it was going to look like, and how I wanted it to be perceived. The title of the lead single inspired the theme: 'bury a friend' is written from the perspective of the monster under my bed – what would I do, what would I feel as that creature? I'm confessing that I am the monster, that I'm my own worst enemy. Maybe I'm the monster under your bed too."
Billie Eilish is currently one of the most prolific and interesting artists, catapulted to fame by her debut single 'Ocean Eyes'. Billie definitively conquered the pop front line with her recent EP 'don't smile at me', which spent 18 consecutive months on the Billboard 200 chart and has over 5 billion streams to date. Billie herself has nearly 3.5 million followers on Instagram, will appear at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Summer Sonic this year, and next year will be supporting Florence and the Machine at some of their concerts.
