ROMAN BUREŠ A native of Kladno, who likes to fulfill his dreams. Apart from writing, his passions include travel, antiquity and martial arts, which he pursues intensively. He used to work as a bodyguard and bouncer in Prague clubs, and now he uses his rich life experience in his books. He started his literary career in 2012 by writing short stories. And because he was not satisfied with short texts, he soon turned to novels. In 2013 he published two, Legionnaire and Raging Lion. Both are set in ancient Rome. However, he considers his original historical-adventure science fiction trilogy The Abyss of Time, which he opened with the book of the same name in 2015, to be followed up a year later with a sequel entitled Empress. The final volume, subtitled Empire, was published in 2018. ANITA KRAUSOVÁ Czech theatre, film and television actress and radio presenter. He is involved in the production of audiobooks and thematic podcasts, and hosts Radio Wave. She studied alternative and puppet theatre at DAMU, then spent two semesters at the Ernst Busch Hochschule für Schauspielkunst in Berlin. After returning to Bohemia, she worked at the Drama Studio in Ústí nad Labem and guested at the National Theatre in the Beggar's Opera. After her engagement in Ústí nad Labem, she began to work mainly in Prague's independent theatre scenes (MeetFactory, Divadlo X10, A Studio Rubín). In 2022, she portrayed Captain Hořavová in the series The Cases of Extraordinary Martha.
