Flowers: Myjau - CD

The word 'original' is the most common link between the words 'music' and the band Květy. This isn't some glitzy show of rising starlets; here, the world according to Květy maintains an ancient mystery and colourfulness. And authenticity. Květy honours the continuity of its previous recordings and continues to tell its stories, not only in Martin E. Kyšperský's lyrics but also in its music. The energy and mood created in the studio have been captured perfectly.

Brno-based Květy recorded their album Myjau at Ondřej Ježek's Jámor studio, who played a significant role in the production and is responsible for the album's excellent overall sound. A wide range of instruments can be heard on the record, because in addition to the standard ones, Květy also stick to their very unconventional instrumental arsenal, such as a revolver cylinder, a klaxon and chain, cowbells, and so on. Květy are like a pair of glasses that, when you put them on, show the completely ordinary world as a mysterious place with an unceasing flood of emotions, experiences, and events.
