Forrest Gump - DVD

Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

With Forrest, we experience three exciting decades – from physical disability to a stellar career as an American football player, from a Vietnam hero to a shrimp tycoon. He walks from an audience at the White House into the arms of the love of his life. He carries with him several lessons from his caring mother and a tried-and-tested rule that proves useful in all sorts of situations: “When you get into trouble, run.”

Forrest Gump embodies an era and the innocence of a country that is losing its own. His heart senses what his limited IQ cannot grasp. The needle of his moral compass never wavers. What he achieves is an inspiration to us all. Forrest Gump is the story of a lifetime.

Tom Hanks gives a stunning performance as Forrest Gump in this film from director Robert Zemeckis.
