Gallagher Liam: Why Me? Why Not. - LP
The former frontman of the famous band Oasis has once again prepared his second solo album with Andrew Wyatt and producer Greg Kurstin, with whom he collaborated closely on the successful album As You Were. Sonically, it harks back to the legacy of bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin, and T. Rex.
For example, the single Shockwave is a sweeping gesture from a musician who is one of the last true rock stars as the world knew them from the twentieth century. Why Me?
Why Not. is being released in several formats; in addition to the standard CD, there is also a deluxe CD version with three bonus songs, as well as black or green LP versions.
Liam Gallagher, along with his brother Noel, formed the backbone of one of the biggest bands in British history. Oasis are a British rock legend; their 1997 album Be Here Now was the fastest-selling debut in UK history until November 2015, selling 424,000 copies in the week after its release. The media across the Channel still dream of an Oasis reunion, but it is highly unlikely given the animosity between the two brothers, who cannot stand each other. After the legendary band split, Liam formed his own band, Beady Eye, but it didn't come close to matching the success of Oasis.
