Goulding Ellie: Delirium (2015) - CD
Ellie Goulding will release a new album in early November!
Twenty-eight-year-old British Ellie Goulding has been one of the world's most popular singers for the past few years. So far she has released two very successful albums, has more than a dozen hit singles to her credit and has sold more than twenty million albums and singles to date. Last time we were reminded of her was at the beginning of the year with the movie song Love Me Like You Do, which hit the charts in more than seventy countries, and now she is finally back in full force!
Ellie Goulding has already announced the release of her third studio album, entitled Delirium, for November 6th. The basic version of the album will contain a total of sixteen songs, including the aforementioned hit recorded for the soundtrack to Fifty Shades of Grey. As in the case of her previous albums, the singer will also launch a deluxe version of the album, which will include a total of twenty-two songs.
The British singer on her new album, which was produced alternately in London, in the English county of Herefordshire, Sweden and Los Angeles, worked with a top-notch production team, which included Max Martin, Greg Kurstin, Ryan Tedder of One Republic, Klas Ahlund or Guy Lawrence from the duo Disclosure. Ellie herself wrote the lyrics, with her long-time collaborator, composer and singer Jim Eliot by her side.
"Part of me sees this album as an experiment to make a great pop record," says Ellie, who today presented the pilot single of the album to the public. The song On My Mind was produced by Greg Kurstin and was sent to radio stations around the world almost immediately after its premiere on UK airwaves. The first reactions to the song and the information released about the upcoming album suggest that Ellie Goulding's new album will certainly be one of the most important releases of the end of this year.
