Hammel Pavol, Varga Marián: Zelená pošta - LP

The 1972 album Zelená pošta was a bit of a renewal of Marian Varga's collaboration with singer Pavol Hammel, lyricist Boris Filan and poet Kamil Petaraj. We will not find here the compositions we know from the production of Vargo's Collegia Musica, but we can listen to songs in the best sense of the word, based on Vargo's ideal of simplicity and clarity. These attributes are perfectly matched by Pavel Hammel's vocal performance. The poetic language of the lyrics of each song is sensitively combined with the language of music. This album is a creative confession and at the same time a lasting document of the always alive and beneficial music-making, in which the most talented personalities of Slovak modern popular music participate. It is released in 140g vinyl record format. Pressed in Schallplattenfabrik Pallas GmbH by analogue method, direct metallic mastering.
