“ A book about books“ is compiled by an experienced teacher of hand bookbinding courses. The author introduces the traditional way of binding books, such as hanging the block in hardcover, not only for new binding but also for rebinding an older publication. There are also examples of simpler bookbinding techniques along with unusual Japanese bindings, e.g. Asa-no-ha toji or Youtsume toji.
