Hoochie Coochie Band: Screamin ' The Blues - CD

According to Jan Švihálek, the album's raw sound has three reasons: "Firstly, the music we play needs its own raw, authentic, natural sound. You can't achieve that in a modern studio or by recording track by track. Secondly, I'm sick of the universal studio sound where almost all bands sound the same. And thirdly, from a DIY perspective, we've taken it quite far – we even built our own reverb."
