Twenty-four-year-old Irish musician is hiding behind the name Hozier. After success in his homeland, he has now decided to attack the rest of Europe.
Andrew Hozier-Byrne comes from a musical family, so he started playing music at an early age. Already during his studies, he recorded his first demos, followed by the first successful EP. It was called Take Me To Church and scored not only in the Irish but also, for example, in the Luxembourg sales chart. Even this year, Hozier managed to release one EP and now he has also sent his first big single to European radio stations.
It is a song Sedated, which is carried at a pleasant slow tempo. The song is based on the beautifully coloured voice of a singer who, in terms of both his talent and his voice, is compared to the legendary American singer and guitarist Jeff Buckley, who died in 1997 at the age of just thirty. Hozier also has support in prestigious world periodicals such as The Sunday Times or Clash, which predetermine a really great future for this young man.
