In a jade cage
A collection of shorter stories from the world of the sci-fi action series UTSS Salamis...
The war may be over, but the Corsairs aren't the only danger awaiting the crew of the UTSS Salamis in the freezing darkness of deep space.
In the caves of Velebit, a squad of marines hunts alien creatures threatening the local colony. At Mombasa station, Major Gelu plays a dangerous game that will make him a nightmare for intelligence operatives. In a colonial shelter on Ivar, Dr Erbakan searches for the source of deadly parasites. An idyllic holiday on the planet Gauguin turns into a desperate fight for survival for pilots Jolly and Aicard. And in the Mexican colony of Durango, the UTSS Salamis unexpectedly gets involved in the first armed conflict since the war with the Corsairs.
Action, suspense, witty remarks and surprising twists – all this and much more awaits you in seven stories from the world of Jakub Mařík's award-winning sci-fi action series. Journey once more into a universe where the Corsairs are just one of many threats humanity must face.
