J. Š. Kubín: A successful sausage
The texts of folklorist and dialectologist Josef Štefan Kubín are remarkable for their use of various forms of folk dialect. This way they co-create the authentic atmosphere of the times of the countrymen who paid their hosts for a good dinner by telling funny and mysterious stories. The Gifted Couple tells the story of the difficult journey of the bearded Filip Melich in search of his dream bride Aninka. Persons and cast: Jaroslav Moučka (narrator), Jan Hartl (Melich), Věra Kubánková (Krejčová and Aninka), Marie Marešová (mother), Bořivoj Navrátil (Černý and Provizor), Vlastimil Zavřel (Bílek), Miroslav Moravec (Vohnout), Jiří Štěpnička (Popelík and Sedláček), Jiří Plachý (Kmínek), Josef Patočka (Pantáta and Krejčí), Jaroslava Obermaierová (Panímáma) and Iveta Dušková (girl) directing: Markéta Jahodová.
