Karol and Kvído: The Adventure Begins - CD
Karolina Gudasová Neuvirthová, a musical theatre actress and singer, decided to fill a gap in the market for quality contemporary Czech children's entertainment. She is preparing a children's show where, during a three-hour performance, kids can not only listen to new songs about various topics, but also learn to make different things in Kvido's creative workshops and enjoy popcorn or cotton candy. The cities where children can see the show include Prague, Příbram, Litvínov, Benešov, and others.
The songs' themes cover nature (The Farm, How to Pet a Snake, What Beavers Are Good At). The song Doctor Tooth tries to help children overcome their fear of the dentist, while Dušan the Pillow helps with ghosts and ghouls. Bacteria explains to children why they should tidy up, and The Traffic Light teaches them the rules of the road. Jary Tauber and Ondřej Žatkuliak collaborated with Karol on the music. The lyrics were mostly written by Tomáš Dvořák in collaboration with Karol.
Music videos will be created for all the songs. Six are already freely available on the Karol and Kvido YouTube channel.
