LP Record Kiss: Ace Frehley is the first solo album by Ace Frehley, released in 1978. It features contributions from Frehley's former Kiss bandmates Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, as well as Bob Kulick and Anton Fig. The album was certified gold on 11 November 1978 and platinum on 11 November 1988. It was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York. The album's first single, "New York Groove", became a hit in the United States, reaching number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The second single from the album, "Radioactive", peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Kiss: Ace Frehley was well-received by music critics.
