LP Record Kiss: Dynasty is an album released in 1979 by the rock band Kiss. It is the band's ninth studio album and the first to feature guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss since their departure in 1977. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA on 14 November 1979. The album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. It was produced by Kiss and Vini Poncia. The album was released on 22 October 1979 by Casablanca Records. The album features the singles "I Was Made for Lovin' You" and "Sure Know Something". The track "I Was Made for Lovin' You" became a huge hit, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album was well received by music critics.
