With their second album, Kryštof repeated the success of their debut, having matured since its release. V siločarách was a more mature and balanced album. It proved that Kryštof truly had talent and that their previous success was no accident. In the songs Obchodník s deštěm, OnaNe, Tramvaje, and Básníř, Krajčo confirmed his ability to write a powerful and impressive song with a memorable melody that doesn't pander unnecessarily. His love for acting and theatre is often reflected in the lyrics, where an attentive listener will find many references and parallels. The album was once again sensitively produced by Dušan Neuwerth.
The band Kryštof was formed in 1993 in Havířov. When their debut album Magnetické pole was released, they were hailed as the discovery of the year with a promising future. Some journalists even saw the band as the potential saviours of Czech pop: "They have the potential to refresh the domestic pop scene and pull it out of the mud where it has been slowly and hopelessly drowning in recent years." The central figure of the band Kryštof is the singer, songwriter, and actor Richard Krajčo.
