The head of the family, the grumpy and strict František (Ondřej Vetchý), would love to see capable and successful men alongside his three daughters. But they all have an excellent talent for finding the exact opposite.
The eldest daughter has to move back in with her parents, along with her unsuccessful husband, and continues trying to get pregnant as best she can. The middle one, on the other hand, unfailingly attracts complete oddballs and weirdos. And the youngest daughter? Well, she's a little too successful in the romance department. She's sixteen, pregnant, and doesn't know who the father is.
What’s more, the married couple's traditional sanctuary and fixed point – their holiday – is starting to fall apart. Every year they go to “Mácháč”, but Jana (Simona Stašová) is starting to dream of the sea. Then, a bohemian writer with mild suicidal tendencies appears in her life, while a beautiful colleague with Spanish ancestors appears in František's, and things start to happen. All these small stories come together to form one big, entertaining life with situations that we all recognise.
However, not everyone also leads a second, far more adventurous life as a fearless agent. But František does.
