Lipa Peter: Lipa Spieva Lasicu - CD

The comeback of the jazz matador Peter Lipa on the (in Slovakia golden) record Lipa sings Lasica. Lipov' s youthful zeal is perfectly seconded here by young Slovak musicians, including the golden Slovak nightingale Jana Kirschner, and in fact they confirm the timelessness of Peter' s music. The music is based on the blues, soul, blends with jazz, dixielandem, chanson, spiritual and elements of funky and rock. Lovers of fine humor will appreciate the intelligent lyricism of Milan Lasica, based on real life experiences, which perfectly complements Lip' s mature musical expression. Modern sound, precise arrangement of music lines, but also a refined design of the cover make Lip' s CD a truly complex experience and pleasure for the heart of a true musical connoisseur. Peter Lipa plays and sings music for advanced listeners, and even though he doesn' t give in, it' s not hard to like his melodic expression. This is confirmed not only by the positive responses of the listeners, but also by enthusiastic music critics, whose agreement is in itself a great event.
