In Africa, Adrian's mask as an inscrutable man falls off, and the group who want to uncover his secret realise they are in the hands of a madman and their lives are in danger. In this work, the author was most inspired by Verne's novels Journey to the Center of the Earth and The Wonderful Adventures of the Barsac Expedition.
