Lost Shards

A standalone crime thriller from the author of the bestselling David Raker saga

Rebecca Murphy has been on her own since splitting up with her husband, and the demands of working in a hospital and raising two young daughters are starting to take their toll on her. So Rebecca decides to drop everything for one day and accompany her brother Johnny on a working trip to a remote island one hundred and sixty-two kilometres from the mainland. But one day stretches to five months.

Rebecca and Johnny are attacked an hour after arriving on the island. The ground falls away and Rebecca is left by her attacker, thinking she is dead. By the time she manages to get back to port, it's too late... The season is over, the last ferry has left and the island is deserted. For five months.

Rebecca soon realises that her brother's disappearance is just one of her many problems. She has no boat, no phone, and no one to turn to, and her nightmare is far from over with her return to civilization. Someone is waiting for her there - and that someone doesn't want her to come home alive...
